Why we are the most advanced center in NYC

Patients using this “magic drop” which was available only at Park Avenue LASEK (because we had been offering it pre-FDA approval) will be able to read normal-sized print in good light without needing readers. However, if you need to see tiny print (like on a medicine bottle) or in dim light, you might need readers. This is one purpose of your trial–to see how well this “magic drop” works for you.

We accept your medical insurance

Just call our office at (212) 741-8628 and say you want to be both evaluated and treated for your presbyopia. If you have any type of valid medical insurance (except Medicaid) you won’t have to pay for either the evaluation or treatment, because your medical (not vision) insurance will pay for both! If you don’t have medical insurance or have a high deductible, the cost is $500, which includes treatment with a special “magic” drop that will decrease, and may even eliminate your need for reading glasses!

Park Avenue LASEK is not making money by offering the public this exciting new treatment pre-FDA approval, because it will cost us about $500 in staffing costs and other overhead for your visit. We just want to be the first to offer it in NY, NJ, CT or PA, in keeping with our commitment to be the Most Modern and Innovative, and Cutting-Edge Laser Vision Correction Center in NYC–even though we stopped cutting LASIK flaps a decade ago (and we also stopped doing PRK which is an older form of LASEK)
