Can patients with dry eyes get LASEK? |
Fiona
I myself got LASIK in my left eye which caused permanent dry eyes, which is why I switched to LASEK, which doesn’t cut the corneal nerves, so doesn’t cause dry eyes
I did 5000 LASIKs & had about 50 unhappy patients because of severe dry eyes afterwards. That’s still 4500 happy patients but try telling that to the ones I gave dry eyes to 🙄
So ANYONE with dry eyes SHOULD NOT GET LASIK BECAUSE IT WILL MAKE THE DRY EYES WORSE 😱
