Good morning doctor.
I have a few questions before I schedule an appointment. I will make it briefly.
I am 53 with no medical conditions at the moment except for my eyes.
At age 4 my right eye was “weak” medial strabismus when focusing. It was “corrected” with glasses. No surgery. I was told I have SEVERE FARSIGHTEDNESS.
Without contacts or glasses I can’t see. Night vision is becoming an issue as well.
I have narrowed angles and had a laser iridotomy to my right eye. I have not returned to do my left.
I have Drusen bodies in both eyes. They are concerned with Macular degeneration in the future.
My contact lenses are as follows
+6.00 and +2.50
+7.50 and +2.50
There are days I see good with them and days I can’t. I hate wearing glasses.
I am not sure if I could be a candidate for your procedure as I was told no to LASIK.
I know your innovation is different but my patient told me about you and spoke highly of you.
I hope you have a nice day.
Please call my office & schedule an Extended Office Visit + LASEK consultation.
You have extreme hyperopia and presbyopia.
I can fix both.
Does the bad eye ever go crooked?
Does it correct to 20/20?
You should have a LPI of your other eye eventually.
I wouldn’t worry about the ARMD. Many people our age have drusen.
Thanks and see you soon.
