Using colored contacts after LASEK, amblyopia

Wondering if I will be able to use contacts after and do you work on people who have had two previous corrective surgeries for the amblyopia ?

Dear Maria,

You would be able to use colored contacts after your LASEK, if you wanted to. You wouldn’t need to use contacts after to see better, as I’m essentially putting your prescription onto your eyeball (cornea) with the laser, so you’d have “built-in” contacts

I have treated more patients with amblyopia than any other refractive surgeon in the USA. We are submitting our results from our last ONE HUNDRED patients for publication. Dr. Riehl lagged this submission, so Drs. Ingle and Ayash are taking this over.

Let’s discuss ALL your questions IN PERSON. Your visit isn’t exactly a “free consultation” as that’s for people who have no prior eye surgery or diagnosis–you have both. So it’s a “Second Opinion” but it will be covered under your MEDICAL insurance

Please call my office back, as they’re supposed to clear your UHC before you come in–or you can check your WhatsApp group to see if our medical biller, Sandra replied with what your deductible and copay is

Thanks so much
