The Question:
I had an appointment with the doctor and said that the right surgery for me is PRK but they dont have finances and thats ehy im looking into a second opinion because I am willing to give a good down payment but I can’t afford it all at onces.

#1 DO NOT GET PRK IT HURTS LIKE CRAZY, TAKES FOREVER TO HEAL AND IS PRONE TO SCARRING. I performed 1,000 PRKs, but performed my LAST PRK 20 YEARS AGO! You have a THIN CORNEA so CANNOT GET LASIK SAFELY so you need a NONCUTTING PROCEDURE. LASEK has REPLACED PRK for all the MOST EXPERIENCED SURGEONS. I have re-treated people who got PRK YEARS ago by another MD, who of course cannot get LASIK. After their LASEK they said “HOLY COW THAT DID NOT HURT AT ALL LIKE IT DID THE LAST TIME WHEN I HAD PRK” (they actually didn’t say “cow” they said something that is what a cow produces, but I cannot say that as a MD 🙂
